Its good to see what is availabe in combination with the kinect, beside inspiration there are different methods that i have been looking into. Think about:
- 3D scans.
- Full body models.
- Particle animations.

With shapify u can do more with visuals, Beside human interaction with the kinect you can make a full scan of the environment. This could be interesting if u like animations to be projected on a costum stage.
Mocap makes it possible for us to make a scan of the human body and make animations about stances / dances, since we're working with a certain style we could make a animation based on EDM. Since the product will be used for one user we could make a crowd thats projected on walls just with mocap animations. a virtual crowd dancing!
This could work like a mirror. a full scan in 360 visuals. save the data of all users and mix it up with new users. totally random and easy to see what other users did since you can compare them at the same time as a user if working with our project.
Just by scanning even the DJ's could be involved within the animation.not just the user. At this point it could feel like the user is having more interaction with the event, DJ and stage.
Reconstuct is a viable option since its a virtual version of yourself. I wouldnt choose for this since the rework for animations would cost more time and think there are faster ways to come create alternatives.
